Therapy-Coaching for Deep Transformation & Creative Success

Your creativity is the heartbeat of your life.
Sometimes it fuels your career. Sometimes it’s the thread running through the business, the family, or the home you’re building.

On the outside, you may even look established and successful. But inside, your relationship with your creativity can feel unpredictable — like being with an unavailable partner. At times it lifts you up. At other times it leaves you hanging. You feel confused, unsupported, frustrated, and alone.

Maybe it feels like a lonely and scary path. Maybe you know deep down that your creative offerings aren’t truly authentic. You’re afraid of being fully seen. You sabotage with procrastination or saying “no” when you want to say “yes.”

Even with success on the outside, your inner world can feel different. You might wrestle with self-sabotage, scattered output, projects left unfinished, hiding your work, or the endless spiral of comparison.

At times you even question what the hell you’re doing and whether you’ve made a big mistake.

You’ve tried positive affirmations, journalling, hustle, bold steps. You’ve even done therapy — but it felt like canoeing in a lazy river. Supportive, maybe, but no real progress. You know what’s contributing to your struggle, but knowing hasn’t changed it.

You’re sceptical. You’re tired. And yet… you can’t hang up the boxing gloves on your creative calling. Life without it would feel joyless and purposeless.

What if you could finally achieve the creative success you want?
What if you could step into your masterpiece — with a clear goal, a clear timeframe, and the right support?

Together we’ll:

  • Unblock the negative beliefs embedded in your psyche.

  • Heal the trauma that fuels self-sabotage.

  • Strengthen your nervous system so it can hold the creative success you’ve been longing for.

I’m not simply a success coach. I go deeper than positive thinking or performance strategies.

The ways we sabotage creativity often come from early negative experiences, long before our thinking brain was fully formed. Gestalt Therapy calls them creative adjustments — behaviours we once used to survive, that now hold us back.

I’m a therapist with 13 years of experience, accredited in 2015, with thousands of client hours. Alongside Gestalt Therapy, I’m trained and accredited in EMDR, with specialist training in Attachment-Informed EMDR and IFS.

I know what it feels like to sit at my desk feeling “meh,” unfulfilled and disconnected from my creativity.
I know the fear of starting over in a new country with two young children.
I know imposter syndrome, freezing on stage, facing rejection, walking away from a secure business to follow my creative soul.

And I know how lonely it can feel when others don’t get what you’re attempting.

Even after years of therapy and a career as a psychotherapist, I still wasn’t in a fulfilling relationship with my creativity. I wanted more joy, more trust, more inner security.

Working through my own layers — using EMDR, IFS, somatic practices, breathwork, and visualisation — gave me the safety and faith to follow my creative energy.

That’s why I can stand beside you now, as a guide for your own journey into creative aliveness.

Who this is for

Just Starting Out?

You’ve taken the first steps into the creative world, full of passion and drive. But now, reality is setting in. You’re questioning your talent, your direction, and whether you can actually make this work. The overwhelm of figuring out where to start and how to make money from your creativity is real. You need guidance, structure, and a way to stay focused without burning out. You don’t want to waste years spinning your wheels. You need a clear path forward.

Pivoting Into a Creative Career?

You’ve committed to your dream, your calling. You don’t want to spend your working life doing something that drains you. Life is short, and you want to make the most of it.
You started off strong, feeling motivated to do the heavy lifting—taking risks, investing time, and putting yourself out there. But perhaps you feel like you’re burning out. The months of trying, the winter of struggle, the lack of tangible results even though you know you’ve made progress—it’s exhausting. You’re finding yourself tearful, tired, and alone, even with supportive friends and family.
You’ve heard the sayings: It’s always darkest before the dawn. There’s a breakdown before a breakthrough. But what if you just needed one last push?

Already Established, But Feeling Lost?

You’ve built a career as a creative, but now, something feels off. Maybe you’ve hit a plateau. Maybe your passion isn’t burning as brightly as it once did. Maybe you’re questioning whether you’re on the right path or if you need to change direction. You feel drained rather than inspired, uncertain rather than confident. You know deep down that something needs to shift, but you’re not sure what or how.
You don’t need someone to tell you how to be creative. You need someone to help you rediscover your drive, uncover hidden blocks, and refine your vision so you can reignite your passion and move forward with clarity.

How Gestalt Therapy and EMDR Can Transform Your Creative Process

Gestalt Therapy: Embracing the Present to Transform Your Creativity

Gestalt Therapy emphasizes self-awareness and living in the present moment. In our sessions, we'll explore how your current thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations influence your creative work. This holistic approach helps you understand and overcome patterns that may be hindering your artistic expression.

EMDR: Rewiring Unhelpful Core Beliefs

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a therapeutic method designed to address and reprocess distressing memories and the negative beliefs associated with them. By using bilateral stimulation techniques, such as guided eye movements, EMDR helps in reprocessing traumatic memories, allowing you to release emotional blocks and enhance your creative flow.
Internal Family Systems (IFS): Harmonizing Your Inner Creative Parts

Alongside Gestalt Therapy and EMDR, I incorporate Internal Family Systems (IFS) to explore the various 'parts' within you—such as the inner critic or the perfectionist—that impact your creative endeavors. By understanding and harmonizing these parts, you can achieve a more integrated and authentic creative expression.
This integrative approach not only addresses emotional and psychological barriers but also enhances your ability to access deeper levels of creativity and authenticity in your work.

“Our sessions felt safe, insightful, and caring. Alexandra drew on different approaches to create work that was dynamic and personalised. She helped me gently challenge my beliefs and make real changes in the world outside.”
